The problem

It's not always a lack of motivation.

You make a plan on Sunday. By Wednesday, you're behind. You know what matters, but getting started feels strangely difficult. Or you start strong, only to lose momentum once life gets busy.

It's easy to interpret that pattern as a discipline problem. But follow-through is influenced by much more than willpower: the way a task is structured, competing demands, your environment, emotional responses, and the habits you've already built.

Instead of adding another rigid routine, we get curious about what is actually happening and create a practical way to move forward.

This work is for you if

You might recognize yourself here.

  • You have goals you care about but keep putting off the first step.
  • You create plans and routines that work for a week, then fall apart.
  • You feel overwhelmed by the number of things competing for your attention.
  • You tend to wait until you feel ready, inspired, or under pressure to begin.
  • You want accountability without guilt, pressure, or a one-size-fits-all system.
  • You're navigating a busy season and need habits that work in real life.
  • You want to understand your behavior, not just push yourself harder.

What the work looks like

Less pressure to be productive. More support for doing what matters.

We look at the gap between intention and action. That might mean breaking a task into a smaller starting point, changing the cues in your environment, building a realistic weekly rhythm, or exploring the thoughts and feelings that show up when it's time to begin.

Because I work from a behavioral science and somatic coaching perspective, we can pay attention to both the practical structure of your day and the way stress or overwhelm affects your ability to engage with it.

  • Identify patterns behind procrastination, avoidance, and inconsistent follow-through.
  • Break larger goals into specific, manageable actions.
  • Design habits around your actual schedule, energy, and priorities.
  • Build accountability systems that encourage learning rather than self-criticism.
  • Practice adjusting routines when life changes instead of starting from zero.
  • Use body-awareness and regulation tools when stress gets in the way.

Frequently asked

Is this coaching or therapy?

This is coaching, focused on goals, behavior change, and practical support. It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment for mental health conditions. If clinical support would be more appropriate, we can discuss finding a qualified professional.

What if I've tried habit trackers and planners before?

That's useful information. We can explore what worked, what didn't, and whether the tools were realistic for your needs. The goal isn't to force you into another system; it's to develop one that fits.

Do I need to know exactly what my goal is?

No. Some people arrive with a specific project, while others know they want change but aren't sure where to begin. Clarifying your priorities can be part of the coaching process.

Can this help with ADHD?

Coaching can support practical planning, routines, and accountability for people who experience attention or executive-function challenges. It does not diagnose or treat ADHD, and it can complement care from a qualified clinician.

What if I lose momentum between sessions?

That's something we can learn from, not a reason to feel embarrassed. We'll examine what got in the way and adjust the plan. Sustainable behavior change often involves experimenting and revising.

Do I need to commit to a package?

No. You can start with a complimentary connection call and an introductory session, then decide whether ongoing support would be helpful.

Do you accept insurance?

Oasis Mind Lab provides coaching and consulting, not insurance-billed psychotherapy or medical treatment. Services are not billed to insurance.

Are sessions virtual?

Virtual coaching is available. You can discuss current scheduling and any in-person options during your connection call.
