Pathway 3 — When the Work Gets Personal

Some roles ask more than your time and skill.

They ask for your presence, your body, and a level of emotional labor that doesn’t clock out at the end of the day.

The problem

Some of the most depleting work doesn’t look depleting from the outside.

It looks like success. It looks like showing up, holding space, staying regulated when everything in you wants to break. Whether you’re a therapist, a teacher, a caregiver, a server, a first responder, or someone in a high-contact role — your work asks something of you that most people don’t see.

The gap between what you give and what you keep creates a quiet kind of erosion. It builds slowly. It doesn’t always look like burnout. Sometimes it just looks like going through the motions, feeling less present, or noticing that the work that used to feel meaningful now mostly feels heavy.

Nothing is wrong with you. This is what happens when you give without tending to what you need. That tending is what this work is for.

This work is for you if

You might be in the right place if any of this feels familiar.

You work in a high-contact role and feel the weight of it long after you clock out
You're navigating role separation — feeling one way at work and another way everywhere else
The emotional labor is invisible to the people around you, and that invisibility is exhausting
You've started to feel less like yourself, or notice that your edges are softer than they used to be
You care deeply about the people you serve, and that care is costing you more than it should
You want support that actually accounts for the specific kind of depletion your work creates

What the work looks like

Rebuilding your edges so the work stops costing you who you are.

This pathway is about untangling. Identifying where you end and the role begins. Understanding how your nervous system is responding to the ongoing demand, and building practices that create genuine separation, not just more coping strategies.

We work somatically, which means we pay attention to where your body is holding the weight of this work — not just what your mind is making of it. Over time you rebuild the capacity to be fully present in your role without losing yourself inside it.

This is slower work than strategy. And it lasts longer.

Support for people in sexuality, intimacy, and adult work

If your work involves sexuality, intimacy, or adult content creation — this pathway was built with you in mind too. You may never have had a professional space that actually accounts for what your role asks of you. This is that space.

Role separationUnderstanding where the professional version of you ends and the personal version begins — and how to move between them without losing ground.
Nervous system workYour role activates your body in specific ways. We work with that directly — building regulation tools designed for the actual demands of your work.
Identity and depletionWhen your work touches your identity this closely, depletion looks different. We work at the level where the cost is actually happening.

All sessions are fully confidential under professional ethical standards. You don't have to explain or justify your work to access support here. You just have to show up.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this therapy?+
No. This is coaching, which means we are focused on where you are now and where you want to go — not on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. If you are in crisis or need clinical support, I will always point you toward the right resources. Coaching and therapy can work well alongside each other, and many people do both.
My job requires me to be "on" all the time. Is this realistic for someone with my schedule?+
Yes — and honestly, that's exactly who this work is designed for. Sessions are 60 minutes and available virtually, which means you don't need to travel or carve out a half-day. The practices we build together are designed to fit into the rhythm of your actual life, not require a retreat to access.
What does "somatic" actually mean in practice?+
Somatic means body-based. In sessions, we pay attention to what's happening in your body alongside what's happening in your thinking — things like where tension lives, what your breath is doing, how your nervous system is responding. This isn't about movement or exercise. It's about using body awareness as a tool for understanding your patterns and building regulation from the inside out.
I'm not sure I can name what's wrong. Is that okay?+
That's one of the most common places people start from in this pathway. You don't need to have it figured out before we begin. A lot of what this work does is help you see what's actually happening — the depletion, the patterns, the places where you've been giving more than you realize. We start exactly where you are.
What if I love my work but I'm still exhausted by it?+
This is actually very common in high-contact roles. Loving the work doesn't protect you from the cost of it. In fact, caring deeply often makes the depletion harder to recognize and harder to talk about. This pathway is specifically designed for people who are committed to their work and also need a way to stay in it without burning through themselves to do it.
I work in sexuality or adult content creation. Will I actually be supported here without judgment?+
Yes. This pathway was built with that population in mind alongside other high-contact roles. Your work is not something you need to explain or justify here. All sessions are fully confidential, and the coaching is grounded in the same nervous system science and somatic frameworks that apply to any role where your presence and body are part of the work.
How quickly will I notice a difference?+
It depends on where you're starting from, but most people notice something shifting within the first two or three sessions — a clearer sense of what's happening, some language for it, and at least one tool that starts to create a little more space. Deeper pattern shifts take more time, which is why the Growth package is the most common starting point for this kind of work.
Do sessions have to be in person?+
No. All sessions are available virtually via Google Meet, which works just as well for this kind of work. If you're in the Dunedin, Tampa Bay area and prefer in-person, that's available too at my office at 303 Main St Suite 107, Dunedin FL.

The space between who you are and who you are becoming is where the work happens.

Most high performers and burned-out artists and entrepreneurs don’t need more motivation. They need a structure that works with their nervous system, not against it. Through somatic-based coaching, evidence-informed psychology, and practical strategy, we build that together.

If you’re ready to stop circling and start moving, you’re in the right place.
